Vocal Treatment

This form of treatment has been designed for those who regularly demand a lot from their voice. Opera singers, Actors, Teachers, and public speakers have all benefitted from this specialised treatment.

It looks at breathing mechanics, muscles and structures involved in projecting the voice, including careful assessment and manipulation of the larynx, tongue and temporomandibular joint (TMJ). By helping these structures to work efficiently, stress is taken away from the vocal chords, which makes it easier to perform the vocal task required.

Vocal treatments have also been found to be beneficial for the management of respiratory issues such as asthma and COPD.
