Rehabilitation

Our rehab approach provides individualised, comprehensive programs, which aim to optimise patient function and well-being and improve their quality of life.

Rehabilitation is the process of restoring to good health.

After a diagnosis has been reached and alongside receiving treatment, it is always necessary for the patient to engage with their recovery process, which often means following our prescribed advice relating to exercise, nutrition, stress and sleep (The four pillars of health).

This is to ensure that a complete recovery is made without (as much as possible) any limiting factors. The ideal scenario being that one can return to any activity and surpass previous abilities, whether an elite athlete or otherwise. Achieving this needs co-operation from both patient and therapist.

Our rehabilitation approach provides individualised, comprehensive programs which aim to optimise patient function and well-being and improve their quality of life. This enables the patient to return to their chosen lifestyle activities whether at home, work or leisure. At the core is the patient’s involvement in their own care, through education, awareness, empowerment and participation in their treatment.

To facilitate the work done in the clinic we are able to provide your rehabilitation programs via an app, allowing you to see, follow and be reminded of exactly what you need to be doing and how often. It also provides a means of communication to feedback how you are getting on, thus allowing the program to be further tailored for your successful recovery.
